PANASONIC ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN RRP FOR THE AG-3DP1 AND FOUR RECENTLY LAUNCHED PROFESSIONAL BROADCAST PRODUCTS

Panasonic Europe today announced pricing details for its 3D camera recorder, the AG-3DP1, along with its four newly announced professional products for the broadcast market: the BT-L2150 and the BT-L2150 LCD video monitors; AV-HS410 switcher and AW-HE120 video camera.

Available from December 2011 at a RRP of €27,000 excluding VAT the AG-3DP1 is Panasonic’s 3D twin-lens P2 HD shoulder-mount camera recorder announced in April this year. Complete with 10 bit colour depth, the AG-3DP1 offers AVC-Intra recording to P2 media, 4:2:2 independent-frame, and EFP-style shooting as part of Panasonic’s intention to expand the universe of affordable 3D production for live events, sports, documentaries and independent films.

The BT-L2150 21” production monitor will be available from November 2011 at a RRP of €1,600 excluding VAT and the BT-L1500 LCD 15” monitor is available from November at a RRP of €1,400 excluding VAT. The new BT-L series focuses on basic functionality and is intended to achieve high cost-performance for the user and the new monitors support two HD SDI inputs and employ LED backlighting.

Panasonic’s all-in-one 19 type rack-size 1 ME live switcher, the AV-HS410, is available before year end with an expected RRP of under €11,000 excluding VAT. Providing excellent scalability, the SD/HD vision mixer’s optional board slots enable support for a variety of input signals, including 3D cameras.

Finally, the AW-HE120 will also be available in winter at an expected RRP of under €7,500 excluding VAT. The full HD integrated remote video camera with a pan-tilt head is approximately 60% smaller and lighter than its predecessor, easily installed and availability in both pearl white and black metallic to match a variety of usage situations.
