Cette caméra incorpore trois nouveaux éléments déterminants : l’enregistrement en AVC-INTRA, un nouveau bloc optique et une nouvelle électronique. Elle intègre de plus une entrée Genlock et une entrée/sortie TimeCode, ce qui en fait une caméra idéale pour tous types d’applications : news, production, plateau... En bref, cette caméra de poing se rapproche fortement des performances et des fonctionnalités d’une caméra d’épaule ! Le bloc optique offre 3 bagues (zoom/iris/focus) est à la fois grand angle et téléobjectif, avec un zoom de 22x et une plage focale de 28 à 616mm. Le capteur MOS 1/3" Tri-ULT (Ultra Luminance Technology) de 2.2 Mégapixels offre un piqué et une sensibilité excellents. Pour relayer le capteur Full HD, elle incorpore la même carte de compression AVC-INTRA que les modèles d’épaule et offre donc l’enregistrement en AVC-INTRA 50 et 100 : c’est une première pour une caméra de poing que de pouvoir proposer l’enregistrement d’un signal en Full HD 1920x1080, 10bit, 4:2:2 et en Intra images. En plus de toutes ces nouvelles fonctionnalités, l’AG-HPX250E propose la fonction Varicam (capture d’image à fréquence variable, de 12 à 60 i/s), différentes courbes de gamma, toute notre gamme de codecs (du DV à l’AVC-INTRA), un viseur et un LCD haute définition et à forte luminosité, ainsi que des sorties HD/SD SDI et HDMI.
